Lukas Herrmanns
Founder & CEO
Before founding HAP Risk, Lukas held senior leadership roles at Marsh McLennan. He joined in 2008 as Country Head for Austria, took on responsibility for 13 countries across Central and Eastern Europe in 2013, and most recently served as CEO for Germany and Eastern Europe. Since 2025, he has been building HAP Risk into one of the most relevant insurance broker and risk advisory platforms across DACH and CEE.

Christian Berger
Commercial
Christian brings more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, including as CEO of Marsh Austria and in senior roles at Coface across the CEE market. His broad background spanning broking, insurance and consulting gives him a rare combination of operational depth and strategic perspective.
At HAP Risk, his focus is on partnerships, business development and sustainable growth — guided by entrepreneurial conviction, clarity and integrity.
Thomas Fischer-Seidl
AI & Tech Solutions
As a co-founder of insurance broker TP Schrimpf, Thomas built and grew the business over many years, forged strong industry partnerships and made his mark on the market. He is also a recognised public voice on the use of AI in risk advisory.
Following the merger of TP Schrimpf with HAP Risk, Thomas is leading the development of the company’s technological edge — building innovative AI-driven solutions that will fundamentally change the way insurance brokers work.
Philipp Haid
M&A
Philipp was a Managing Director at BlackRock in London and brings over 15 years of experience in private equity, M&A and strategic advisory. He previously worked at Apollo Private Equity and in the corporate finance division of Deutsche Bank, with deep expertise across transactions and structured financing.
At HAP Risk, Philipp serves as Lead Investor and oversees M&A and financing, drawing on his international network and long-term strategic perspective.
Michelle Pinter
Operations
Before joining HAP Risk, Michelle spent many years at Marsh McLennan. She began as assistant to the CEO for Central and Eastern Europe, before taking on the leadership of Marketing & Communications for the region. From there she moved into roles as Head of Strategy and Chief of Staff for Germany and CEE, and most recently supported the European CEO organisation as part of the strategy team.
At HAP Risk, Michelle leads project management (PMO) and is responsible for all things marketing and corporate communications.
